Ordered takeout from here for dinner and was a little disappointed in the food quality, but very impressed with the staff and ambience of the interior even if I didn’t eat in.When I ordered for takeout, the staff were very friendly and very helpful. I kinda wished I ate inside, as the interior of the building looked very cool with loads of interesting objects like license plates and other things hanging off the walls as well as other decorations.I got a zums burger with fries and coleslaw which came with the burger. Both the fries and the coleslaw were pretty good, but nothing special. I was pretty disappointed in the burger though. The buns were a little burnt and very dry, and the bacon and cheese on top of the burger was also very dry and over cooked, as well as the burger patty as well. I expected a burger that was a little juicier.Overall, it’s a pretty okay place to eat at, but I would mainly go here for the friendly staff and interior atmosphere.

Had the fish n chips, fries were average fish was poor ! Very poor ! Had a pasty taste. Other food was great 👍. Staff were awesome and polite and often came around to see if we needed anything. Over all good experience shame about the fish.

Stopped here for breakfast. The service was fast yet very nice. They have decent selection of breakfast, sandwiches, eggs and hotcakes. The Mexi bowl had small portions and barely any sausage 😐

Mash potatoes w gravy good. Pomegranate salad with chicken was very good marinated and soft chicken. The chili was too spicy and the salad had way too much dressing. The schnitzel was really good and generous and nice mushroom gravy. Coffee was good, but refills took time, though cheerfully topped up. There is a take out menu that has 3 pieces of chicken for 10$ which if all dark meat I can recommend.

We had Steak Sandwich and Big Canadian burger. Steak is not a big cut, probably 4 oz. Burger has double patty with mushroom and bacon. Both are good. We love the Cole slaw, not too sweet and creamy. We finished all the food. Also ordered Honey Brown draft beer, 🍺. Love it!! Did not have opportunity to try the fried chickens. By the time we were ready to order, it was 8:02pm, the kitchen was closed.

I recently dined at Zum’s Eatery & Mercantile in Waterton, Alberta, and it was an absolute disaster from start to finish. Despite their claim of serving the “world’s best fried chicken,” my experience was anything but just world's worst restaurant”.We ordered three servings of fried chicken, and to our dismay, the chicken was undercooked, chewy, and overly salted. When we brought this to the attention of our server, he admitted that the batch of chicken batter was overly salted but did nothing to rectify the situation. No fresh batch was offered, and we were left to endure the poor quality of the meal.To make matters worse, we found feathers in one of our chicken pieces. When we pointed this out to the server, instead of being apologetic, he went defensive and assured us that eating feathers is safe and poses no health risk. As a gesture, he offered us a mere 20% off our bill, which was hardly satisfactory given the circumstances.The ordeal didn’t end there. When we asked to speak to the manager while paying the bill, we were met with an unfriendly attitude. The manager, aware of our feedback, showed no sign of apology or concern. Instead, she dismissively told us we didn’t have to pay for our food as if we were looking for a free meal.The entire experience was marred by poor service, unprofessionalism, and subpar food. I would not recommend Zum’s Eatery & Mercantile to anyone looking for a decent meal or a pleasant dining experience. Save yourself the disappointment and choose a different restaurant in Waterton. It’s overpriced and overhyped has unprofessional staff.

They have the world’s famous fried chicken takeout! The dish consists of 3 huge crispy-juicy chicken, with a side of coleslaw and choice of carbs. The chicken tasted like kfc-ish, but crispy. We also got their chicken wings which is also a winner! Perfectly fried and not dry. The beautiful servers were all cheerful, fast, and very hardworking. The ambience is great with lots of natural light and vintage-retro interior. They also allow pets in their patio.

Atmosphere is very warm. Staff were incredibly friendly. Most of my parties food was great, but I ordered the Chicken Alfredo and it lacked in flavour. The garlic toast was burnt and the pasta tasted like nothing. Order something else if you choose to go here.

Had breakfast there - friendly, warm atmosphere. Delicious and affordable breakfast sandwich brought back down to earth amidst all the other fancy restaurants. Definitely a good spot to check out!

We did enjoy our fried chicken and loved their sides so much specially their coleslaw. I had to order an extra coz I loved it so much!While we did enjoy our food here, one lady at the front was a bit rude. Since it was busy when we went there, I had to go to the front to order an extra gravy, coleslaw and a soda but she just told me to go back to our table and wait for our server. She did not even inform our server.

We ordered for the so called world famous chicken and it was not even worth the hype,seriously even kfc have way better than tender,flavour,juicy and taste.It was pretty much crispy and harder meat,couple pieces literally cooked way over than what it supposed to be.the waitress we had was very rude aswell.had few other stuffs and they were not bad compared to the fried chicken,wont recommended at all.coleslaw was outstanding by the way.

9.1.23- I know the reviews are all over the place- but we had a great experience. Ordered to-go because it was a beautiful sunny day, and we wanted to eat picnic-style across the street on the beach. Ordered the Reuben and their famous fried chicken along with fries. Everything was super tasty, served up quickly, staff was nice, and prices reasonable. Fun quirky interior decor, even though we didn’t eat inside.

The fried chicken batter is a little salty and I kept feeling thirsty after the meal. The fries were really good though, and so is the milkshake.

The chocolate milkshake here is absolutely fantastic! It’s so thick and creamy and it’s the best milkshake I’ve ever tried!! 🤤Their chicken burger is good but it’s difficult to eat because it’s not a patty but 2-3 chicken tenders as a “patty” instead. The tenders are crispy though! If you’re looking for vegetarian appetizers, they have cauliflower bites which is delicious too!

Few of us had lunch here and the food was good. Service was fast, server was friendly and answered any menu related questions.

I wish I had the option to give ZERO RATING.Food quality is TERRIBLE. They re-fry the fries and chicken. Ultimately, oily and very ordinary. They market their chicken as the best chicken, but honestly, 7eleven serves 10K times better.Waste of money. Please roam around and go to other restaurants on the street.Add on: Staff would not appreciate honest feedback.PS... they won't share wifi when they know that the entire town of waterton has issues with network connectivity. Also, all the other dishes we ordered had the same issue, let it be fish and chips or soup or poutine.Never had such terrible food in Canada.

Mediterranean Pizza was biscuit flatbread, not very tasty. Tofuwich bun was extremely dry, not brioche as advertised, not very tasty. Hippie wrap was filling! Not very tasty. Extra charge for salad instead of fries. All Overpriced.
