Equality, diversity and inclusion calendar (2024)

Throughout the year, there are lots of ways that we celebrate and mark the diversity of our community.

Alongside some of the national and global awareness days and months, such as LGBT+ History Month and Disability History Month, we also run events and activites relating to other aspects of life at BU. These include our annual Climate Action Week, along with reasons to celebrate, such as Graduation and Alumni of the Year Awards.

From cultural heritage months to religious observances and global awareness days, our calendar highlights a range of significant events throughout the year. We have tried to include as many dates as possible, but if there are additional dates that you think we should include please email: [emailprotected]

We encourage you to explore the events included in the calendarand participate in activities and discussions related to these celebrations. While there are a large number of events taking place throughout the year, the ones that we will be celebrating or supporting are highlighted in the accordionbelow.

If you're organising an event aligned to one of the dates, please email:[emailprotected]
